Place, Memory, and Location focuses on places which shaped and define Catherine’s mental health. Memory consists of six 3D virtual reality models of rooms, drawn loosely from memory. The viewer can wear a virtual reality headset, allowing them to be immersed in the rooms, experiencing them as Catherine remembers them. Place is a series of four pencil drawings, depicting the most notable rooms as they actually are. Location juxtaposes these loose recollections with the realistic pencil drawings of the rooms.
